Walking into Mizuki Buffet, I was instantly swept into a culinary journey that tasted like a curated tour of Japan’s finest. Starting with the appetizers, the Pot Stickers and Sesame Balls came in perfect portions — crispy, golden, and just the right bite to tease the palate. The Seaweed Salad added a refreshing contrast, while the Fried Sweet Biscuits and Cheese Rangoons felt like comfort food with a gourmet twist.
The Nigiri selection was simple yet stellar. Each piece, from the buttery Salmon Nigiri to the delicate Sweet Egg (Tamago), was fresh and expertly shaped. The Eel Nigiri (Unagi) stood out with its caramelized glaze, and the Cooked Shrimp Nigiri (Ebi) had a satisfying bite that lingered pleasantly.
Sushi rolls were a highlight — the California Roll offered creamy crab bliss, while the Tuna Avocado Roll delivered a rich, balanced profile. The Spider Roll, though, was my favorite: crunchy, savory, and a little adventurous.
For sashimi lovers, Mizuki doesn’t hold back. I sampled the Tuna, Salmon, Yellowtail, and even Octopus Sashimi, each sliced beautifully thick — pure umami with every mouthful. The White Tuna Sashimi was delicate and smooth, melting almost instantly on the tongue.
If you’re in for variety, the Super Sushi Trays (A & B) are showstoppers — colorful, diverse, and generous. On the side, the Sautéed Green Beans were a surprise hit — crisp, garlicky, and addictive.
Don’t miss the Salt & Pepper Shrimp, a seafood dish that dances between spice and crunch. To round things off, their classic Fried Rice pairs well with any plate. Drinks are straightforward: Coke or Sprite — refreshing and reliable.
Mizuki Buffet isn’t just a meal; it’s a sushi lover’s daydream, plated with precision and pride.
